VANSA WESTERN CAPE: Goodbye to Spin Space
VANSA Western Cape will be streamlining its operations in 2012. Due to unexpected funding cuts and uncertainties, VANSA Western Cape will no longer operate out of its offices in Spin Street, and we are currently exploring more cost effective options for the regional office.
The Western Cape branch of the organisation is not closing and there are a variety of exciting projects in the pipeline. We are awaiting responses on a number of funding applications, which will determine the extent of projects in the immediate future.
We look forward to engaging with our network and partners in realising these initiatives. VANSA Western Cape will be working closely with the national VANSA office to ensure the continuity of VANSA’s regional presence and the ongoing delivery of projects that redefine the possibilities for the visual arts in the Western Cape.
