Ruth Prowse School of Art Studio and Gallery Launch

Ruth Prowse School of Art are launching the Stempel Studios and the new Laubscher Gallery at Ruth Prowse School of Art next week. There will be an exhibit of a work by Erik Laubscher and works by the late Ruth Prowse in the Gallery which will be open to the public on Wednesday the 23rd from 1:30 to 4:30 pm and Thursday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Ruth Prowse School of Art purchased the Apostolic Church Property which had a common wall with the Cottage side of the School. Extensive renovation has converted this property into wonderful new expansive fine art studios and an annex that has been renovated to create a new Gallery. The parking area has been paved and joined to the parking at the front of the existing Manor House.

The fine art studios are to be named after Brendalyn and the late Ernest Stempel, generous benefactors of the School and the new Laubscher Gallery is named in honour of the founder of the school, Erik Laubscher.

The short launch exhibition, open to the public on Wednesday the 23rd afternoon and Thursday from 9:00am to 4:30 pm will feature a work by Erik Laubscher, from the collection of the Chairman of the Board, Mr Andrew Mestern, and works by the late Ruth Prowse, from the collection of Brendalyn Stempel. All are welcome.
