William Kentridge Fundraiser Talk
On the 5th of August 2011 Greatmore is holding a Fundraiser in aid of raising funds for Studio Space so that artists from all financial backgrounds can have an opportunity to create in an interactive environment.
Greatmore is proud to welcome William Kentridge, who will be giving a talk on his work. The talk will be followed by an exhibition by various artists in support of the studio as well as Open studios, making this a great opportunity to get to know Greatmore’s resident artists.
Artists confirmed include Colbert Mashile, Willie Bester, Jane Alexander, Sam Nhlengethwa, Lionel davis, Kathryn Smith, Pat Mautloa, Kitty Dorje, Velile Soha and Cinga Samson.
Times:
17:30 – Light snacks and wine
18:00 – Talk by William Kentridge and presentation by Greatmore
19:00 – Exhibition of Artists in support of Greatmore
