VANSA in partnership with Gallery 415 is hosting an exhibition in celebration of COP 17 being held in Durban; South Africa entitled eARTh - a contemporary, fine art & craft exhibition. The first COP was held in 1992 in Rio de Janeiro, and now for the first time in its history it is being held in the African continent.
eARTh - a contemporary, fine art & craft exhibition
Climate change, as we all know, is used to refer specifically to the effect on the earth caused
by human activity as opposed to changes caused as part of the earth's natural processes. eARTh is about creating a new image out of decay, the notion of introducing a fresher and newer perspective in combating climate change. eARTh is derived from the concept of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
