VANSA KZN Presents SOSCIAL EVENINGS @ the Collective On 24 February 2012 from 16H00-19H00 VANSA KZN invites you to the first of many social evenings that will be held on the last Friday of every month at the Collective from 16H00-19H00. The social evenings will include activities such as discussions and debates on issues affecting the visual arts industry particularly in KZN, sharing ideas, games (scrabble, 30 seconds, playing cards etc.) ALL WELCOME!
Knitting Party
A Major Yarn Bombing Project is being tackled by the COLLECTIVE for COP17. We need as many knitters as possible. Come into the gallery to use the knitting machines or knit by hand...GET PAID TO KNIT! We'll give you R100 for every 30cm x 1m square knitted by machine, and R150 for every 30cm x 1m square knitted by hand.
VANSA goes GREEN
VANSA in partnership with Gallery 415 is hosting an exhibition in celebration of COP 17 being held in Durban; South Africa entitled eARTh - a contemporary, fine art & craft exhibition. The first COP was held in 1992 in Rio de Janeiro, and now for the first time in its history it is being held in the African continent.

ARTRIGHT Workshop in KwaZulu Natal
ArtRight is a new on-line platform which aims to build professional practice in the visual arts through the creation of tools, templates and advisory resources which address a range of legal, financial and general business issues for people working in the industry. VANSA would like to invite you to an industry briefing and feedback session related to the project, which we are co-developing with Brendan Copestake and the WITS School of Arts.
