The Prix Ars Electronica 2012

The Prix Ars Electronica in 1987 as an interdisciplinary platform for everyone who uses the computer as a medium of universal design into their creative projects at the interface between art, technology and society.

The Prix Ars Electronica, the Ars Electronica , the Ars Electronica Center - Museum of the Future and the Ars Electronica Futurelab , the four pillars of the Ars Electronica Linz GmbH, a specific orientation and long-term continuity unique platform for digital art and media culture.

The prizes are awarded annually during the Ars Electronica Festival. The Prix Ars Electronica is one of the most important awards for creativity and pioneering spirit in the digital media sector.

Events at the Prix Ars Electronica festival Ars Electronica
